ENGLISH
1. What the extension does
The extension adds an import panel to supported Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) course schedule pages. It reads course information only after you choose Start import. A parsed preview is kept temporarily in the browser's extension session storage until the CampusFlow import page requests it. The preview is removed from session storage when it is handed to that page. If it is never handed off, browser or extension session cleanup removes it.
The extension does not automatically import courses, submit forms, or change the school page URL while parsing. It returns to CampusFlow only after you choose Return to CampusFlow and import.
2. Information accessed and transferred
Depending on the layout of the supported schedule page, the extension may read and parse:
- course title and course code;
- instructor and classroom;
- weekday, class sections, displayed time, and scheduled weeks;
- semester or schedule labels; and
- the source page's stable origin and path, without its query string or URL fragment.
The extension does not read or transmit your school password, cookies, browser authentication tokens, gid_ values, other URL query parameters, or URL fragments. It does not collect browsing history, unrelated page content, contacts, location, payment details, or health information. It does not run analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking.
The extension package itself does not send the course preview to a remote server. After you choose to hand off the preview, it passes the course data to the CampusFlow page in your browser. If you are signed in, the CampusFlow web app synchronizes its account state, including the imported timetable, with the authenticated CampusFlow service over HTTPS. The extension does not read the CampusFlow sign-in token; the web app handles its own sign-in and synchronization.
3. Where data is processed
- Your browser: A pending preview is held in
chrome.storage.session, which is limited to the current browser session. The extension removes the preview when the CampusFlow page takes it. You can also end the browser session, disable or remove the extension, or decline to hand the preview off. - CampusFlow: When signed in, the web app sends course data as part of your account state to
class.aryuki.com. The service uses Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1 to process and store account state, associated with your authenticated CampusFlow account. - Auth Center: CampusFlow uses Auth Center to verify your sign-in. The extension does not send timetable contents to Auth Center.
- XJTU: You access the university schedule page directly. The extension does not send the course preview back to the university.
CampusFlow's separate sharing tools are controlled in the web app. The extension does not create a share link or make your timetable public. If you later choose to create a public share, people with that link can see the fields you selected in the share settings.
Website analytics, separate from the extension
The main CampusFlow web app includes the Google Analytics 4 tag (measurement ID G-PYLXXDZPDP) on its homepage for site measurement and ownership verification. Google may process homepage visit, session, browser/device, and referrer data and may use first-party analytics cookies. Share pages, sign-in callback pages, and requests containing query parameters do not include the tag. CampusFlow does not read Google Analytics reports or submit course, assignment, or note contents as custom analytics events. The extension and XJTU pages do not load this tag. See Google's Privacy Policy for Google's processing practices.
4. Purpose and your choice
Course data is processed only to provide the timetable import and synchronization features you request. Import is optional and user initiated. You can review and edit imported records in CampusFlow.
5. Retention and deletion
An unclaimed preview is temporary browser-session data. After the CampusFlow import page takes it, the extension removes that temporary preview. Course records synced to your signed-in CampusFlow account remain in the account state until you edit or remove them in CampusFlow or replace that state through normal use of the app. The extension does not maintain a separate server-side course database.
To stop future extension access, disable or remove the extension in Edge. To remove an imported course from the account, delete it in CampusFlow and allow the app to synchronize the change. For privacy requests, contact the publisher at yysy.rhy@gmail.com.
6. Sharing and sale
The publisher does not sell, rent, or broker data collected by this extension. The extension does not share course data with advertisers or analytics providers. Cloudflare processes data as infrastructure provider for the CampusFlow service. Any sharing initiated later through CampusFlow's separate sharing feature is governed by the visibility and field selections you make there.
7. Security
The extension limits page access to supported CampusFlow and XJTU schedule URLs, requests only the storage API permission in addition to those scoped host permissions, and uses HTTPS for the CampusFlow service. Temporary previews are kept in session storage. Query parameters and URL fragments are removed from the source URL before it is included in course data.
Supported timetable hosts are jwxt.xjtu.edu.cn (student timetable) and bk-kq.xjtu.edu.cn (undergraduate attendance timetable). Access is limited to their timetable paths.
8. Children's privacy
This extension is designed for university timetable management and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the extension.
9. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when the extension's data practices change. The publication date above will be revised with material changes. For questions or privacy requests, contact yysy.rhy@gmail.com.
